Chelsea (Cherry)
Chelsea is the first character to be introduced in the series, starting with Queen of Hearts. Her mother lived a debaucherous life behind closed doors, which ultimately lead to Chelsea's forced involvement in this lifestyle. Thus, in escaping this life, Chelsea enters the orphanage, and later on, working for the bar that runs the orphanage. Her relationship with Lewis is portrayed in Chelsea.

Lewis
Lewis is the third character introduced in the series, debuting in REVOLVER. He lived a life of poverty; tossed around by those wealthier than he, shutting himself away from the outside world. Until a bartender from the bar came and brought him light. In Hikari, Chelsea is shown to be a guardian angel of sorts; and later on, a romantic interest for Lewis. Their relationship's history is portrayed in Chelsea.

Rosetta (Rose)
Rosetta is the second character introduced in the series, debuting in REVOLVER. She lived with her mother and abusive father, until her mother left her for the sake of protecting her. In Phantom Pain, she is referred to a "rose" by her mother, who suffered physical and emotional abuse from her alcoholic father. At the orphanage, she is seen to befriend Chelsea; the two becoming incredibly close companions...
